Upon passage of this proposal, there will be created another class of player, called Agent, whose job is to negotiate deals between Actors and The Investors, as well as the Emperor, or whatever Doremi is calling himself; and said Agent shall be paid a Commission of 15% of Actor’s salary for every sort of Contract he successfully negotiates, whatever that will eventually mean; and that I get to be an Agent, ‘cause it was my idea.

imperial Can’t vote for or against because I don’t know if the Actors even have salary, or what the negotiations will be based on. I might change my vote upon clarification by future proposals.

against Doesn’t actually do anything to the rules

against It seems a good idea, but is sort of meaningless without more rules that we don’t already have.

Heh.

Warrior: Generally, proposals should either affect the gamestate, (e.g. “I win”), or the rules.  Things like this sound neet, but if they have continuting non-tracked events it’s a pain in the arse.

I think Doremi IS the investor.

against very sloppy.

against This proposal actually does nothing anyway.  It dosn’t modify the ruleset.

Not even “generally”, Excalabur; the Proposal Rule says defines proposals as being exactly that.

I almost called myself The Agent instead of The Investor, but decided against it for precisely this reason. It’d be cool to have different classes of people. Or maybe Agents could be like trainers from last dynsaty? I like the former better, but the latter is probably easier to implement.

against because it doesn’t modify the ruleset.

Until there is something for this to establish what “salary” and “negotiations” are this receives an against vote from me.

If Doremi votes, we’ll have the “anti-quorum” of votes needed to start clearing the proposal queue.

snowballinhell7001:

we have quorum already…this is dead

Hix:

No, we currently have 1 FOR, 2 IMPERIAL, and 11 AGAINST.  If the 10 Actors who haven’t yet voted all vote FOR, it would pass (13-11).  So we can’t yet fail this under the “It has enough AGAINST votes that it could not be Enacted without one of those votes being changed” clause.

Hix:

(Oops, make that only 1 IMPERIAL, but with 11 unvoting Actors.  Same conclusion, though.)

i realized that soon after the post, i was under the impression quorum was 11…apologies.
We have one imperial actually…one was mine but had a CoV to against . So we have 1 FOR, 1 IMPERIAL, and 11 AGAINST.
