Admin abuse?
So what’s going on with Arthexis having a proposal deleted and someone adding lolspeak to someone else’s proposal, then? Is our blog haunted?

Wakukee:
These have been going on for a long time. Someone also pretended to be me and to be Rodlen recently. And more had been done before that.
Wakukee:
And someone closed the CFJ. Alt f people thought that I was doing this w/ my glitch powers, but they aren’t that powerful.
Wakukee:
Excuse me. “Alot of” was what I meant to say instead of Alt f.
Qwazukee:
“Alot” isn’t a word. I can’t believe you got an A in English last semester.
Yeah Kevan, this has been ongoing. Nothing terrible, just a lot of meaningless interference.
I like your use of links, btw.
Wakukee:
“btw” isn’t a word. It’s a time-saving “abbreviation”. But I do like Kevan’s use of links.
Klisz:
I just adminned the illegally-edited proposal.
Wakukee:
Stop doing that. You will encourage the abusive admin.
Klisz:
...stop doing what? Adminning illegal proposals?
Qwazukee:
. . . You linked to the page we’re already on?
Wakukee:
@Darth: Adminning proposals that were edited by an outside source. It was not vetoed, no one approved the illegal edit. Just undo the edit.
Kevan:
I’ve returned the proposal to the queue, against Darth’s illegal adminning of it.
Qwazukee:
Hmm, that had been done in the past without complaint. . . .
Qwazukee:
Adminning proposals as illegal, that is.
Wakukee:
This was done when Rodlen edited proposals without trying to hide his identity. He was subsequently rebuked and he stopped doing it. Thisnew person is annonymously editing proposals even after warned that it was illegal.
Kevan:
Either nobody realised or nobody minded, when Rodlen was doing it.
But if a proposal is “illegally edited”, it means that there’s no legal way it could have gotten to that new state - we should just revert it to how it was before, rather than taking it at face value. (The same way that if you illegally add “I win!” to the ruleset, we don’t have to make a proposal to delete it; from the game’s perspective, it was never there.)
If admin genuinely could remove illegally edited proposals from the queue, then they could personally veto pending proposals, as well as CfJs and DoVs.
Wakukee:
Right.
Qwazukee:
Hmmm.
Amnistar:
Kevan, if it gets worse do we want to reduce number of Admins? or do you think the issue is from non-admins?
Qwazukee:
Non-admins can’t edit other peoples’ proposals, only their own.
Qwazukee:
At least, so far as I can tell.
Wakukee:
Qwaz is right. I can only mess w/ my own stuff. And I have a suspicion that the abusive admin is Idle right now.
Rodlen:
Lets see…when I edit things, I don’t even try to disguise my identity. That wouldn’t be fun. However, I have been impersonated before, and there is no way to trace editing. This is BAD.
Wakukee:
Is there a way to add a track for edits?
Rodlen:
It seems that I started a trend with my RODLAN WUZ HAIRs…one that is unfortunately unstoppable…drastic measures may be required.
Rodlen:
Wak: As far as I know, no.
Wakukee:
Maybe 75th Trombone can help?
Klisz:
Alright, editor admin. If you do this again, we’re going to begin proposing to remove untrustworthy admins from their posts.
Klisz:
Posted at the same time as Wak.
Rodlen:
I’ll PM Trombone about this.
Wakukee:
You realize that as one of the newest admins, you are at the top of the list of “untrustworthy admins”? There is no way to tell who is a good admin and who is not. I say just keep undoing what they mess up untill they give up.
Wakukee:
Posted at the same time as Rodlen.
Rodlen:
Sent.
Klisz:
I’m with Wak on this.
Klisz:
Posted at the same time as Rodlen.
Qwazukee:
I trust DC, I can’t actually see him or any of these Staffers doing anything they thought destructive. I just don’t understand.
Yoda:
I thought we bit this in the bud already… *sigh*
Darknight:
Man I’m always missing these chats. And I agree that this is getting to be a pain in the butt. Though it only really started when the brothers joined, not saying they’re doing it.
