Add a subrule to “The Building” called “Inhabitants” containing the followinig text:

In addition to Gostaks, several other Entities also reside in the building.  The known ones are:

Lazy Joe-Lazy Joe has been in the Prison for as long as anyone can remember.

Elvis- Elvis lives on The Nonexistent FloorIt’s said that he will give useful advise to anyone else on the same floor.

Demons- One Shiny Demon Lord and the Shiny Demons reside on the 3rd floor.  If anyone else enters the 3rd floor, e must roll DICEX, where X is the number of Demons.  If the result is greater than 5 plus the amount of cheese e has, e immediately is moved to the Lobby.

The VIP-This mysterious figure dwells on the 1st Floor.

Add a rule entitled “Architecture” containing the following text:

There are several notable features of the building.

Add a subrule with a title of “The Escalator” to the rule entitled “Architecture” containing the following text:

The Escalator runs between floors 20 and 16.  It is permenantly stuck moving down.  Any Gostak on a floor between 16 and 19 (inclusive) may move down a floor at any time.

for I’m trying to think in a bucky fashion here: Residing/dwelling/living on a certain floor does not mean the entity is always found on that floor. They could roam around the building freely since they don’t have to follow gostak movement rules.

for But smith, it would take further proposing to actually move them anyway.

lars - There is no rule permitting their movement but also no rule forbidding it. Until the ruleset handles non-gostak entity location and movement, it seems arguable either way. Lazy Joe does seem stuck in the prison, since if he moved some Gostak would then remember him being outside of the prison - which is illegal.
