Proposal: Extended Hearings

Reaches quorum and passes, 11-0. Josh

In the rule “Trials”, change “24 hours” to “48 hours”.

The two trials that have happened so far both involved cross-examining Crewmembers.  24 hours isn’t enough time to question someone, get an answer, and for everyone to CoV afterwards.

Maybe we should be doing the cross-examinations first? Just as a general strategy point, I’d suggest that we treat Trials like DoVs (that is, we become sure that someone is an Android first, then we just hold the Trial to confirm that that is what players generally think).

That said, for so that you don’t have to be online every day for optimal play.

I disagree with ais523’s strategy point.  The mechanical cost of a failed Trial is very low, while even a failed Trial has the useful side effect of forcing the accused to talk.
