Proposal: Hepburnesque

Self-killed, failed by Kevan.

Adminned at 02 Apr 2009 07:27:22 UTC

In Rule 2.2.1, replace “If the Actor is listed as dead, then the Scene must still be posted as a comment to the Drawing Board, but it is Cut immediately afterwards.” with:-

If the Actor is listed as dead, then the Actor shall be listed in the Script as “(someone like [name])” (where [name] is the Actor’s name), and the scene’s Body Count must be reduced by 1 (to a minimum of zero).

Reducing the dead-stunt-cast punishment (although there still needs to be one, to stop stunt casting from being a no-brainer).

imperial Eh. I quite like the gamble.

against Very against, in fact. Stunt-casting is worth far too much as it is, making the gamble less of a gamble would just make it even more powerful.

True. This was a reaction to someone saying that they were rolling dead actors too often (and I’ve absolutely no idea what the percentages are like, on that). Maybe keeping the scene but not giving the Scripter any Bodies for it would be a better solution.

against I agree that cutting the scene entirely is bad, but this new penalty is so light that everybody should just stunt cast.

against Self-kill, I’ll propose a better version when I’ve got a moment.
