Proposal: Honorable intentions

vetoed—Yoda

Add a subrule to the Rule entitled “Honor.  Call it “Honor From Proposals” and give it the following text:

Whenever a proposal by a Clansman is enacted, the Clansman who proposed it gains 1 Honor.  Whenever a proposal by a Clansman is failed, the Clansman who proposed it loses 1 honor; if it was vetoed, the clansman who proposed it loses an additional 1 Honor.

imperial I don’t think vetoes should make the proposer lose an additional honor, since vetoing can now be used as a way to clear proposals that are not the oldest pending proposals off the queue.

against Tying a game stat to proposal outcomes seems likely to stop that game stat from getting too important, and to perhaps encourage too many (blandly positive) proposals, if there’s a good reason to keep up with the most prolific player.

against Blending game concepts with dynasty concepts seems contrary to the BlogNomic metatheme.
