Proposal: Idle Handcuffs

In Rule 1.2, replace “Admins may de-Idle a Adventurer at his request” with:-
Admins may de-Idle an Adventurer at his request (unless that Adventurer asked to become idle within the previous 4 days)
Cutting down on the scope for “tactical idling”, of being able to remove yourself from the game for a few seconds or hours as a cheap cloaking device. (Per this discussion at the end of the last dynasty, which Wakukee won by idling and unidling himself and another player purely to trigger some gamestate changes.)
Players should only go idle if they genuinely aren’t going to be around for a few days. Players who time out aren’t affected, and can wake back up immediately.

I was going to say something about how it shouldn’t apply to timed-out idlers, but then I realized they don’t ask to be idle, so it doesn’t. Success!

That someone could use the existing unidling mechanic to prevent a scam (and only in the rare case where they intend to go idle, are actually still around, and are somehow the only person who can prevent something) doesn’t seem worth letting another player use the same mechanic to achieve a scam.

@Kevan: I would vote FOR if there was a shorter limit; perhaps only 24 hours.

(And, of course, true scammers don’t mind waiting 4 days, so this just keeps all the amateurs out :P)

Note: An admin might still scam by tactically idling, since if they idle themselves they didn’t technically request to be idled.
