Add a new entry to the Glossary Keywords: “IRC Channel: The Blognomic IRC channel is located at #nomic on the slashnet network (irc.slashnet.org).
If proposal For Fun passed, remove the text “#nomic on the network irc.slashnet.org” from the ruleset.
The text “#nomic on the network irc.slashnet.org†only appears once, even if For Fun passes.
The new glossary entry doesn’t use brackets, so this proposal wouldn’t delete its own addition.
Does this mean that the IRC channel becomes gamestate?
Keba, please do not use voting icons while idle. It messes with the automatic vote counters.
Note that Keba’s vote still doesn’t count, as he was idle when he cast his vote. The vote tally is 10-0 by my count.
BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.
The game has been running since 2003 and resets every month or so. Have a look around the wiki for more information and history. New players are always welcome and can join in the game at any time.
