Proposal: Keepalive

In the subrule “Idle Assassins” insert after the sentence “In the latter case, the Admin must announce the idling in a blog post.” the following:

During periods when changes to the gamestate cannot be realized (e.g. the wiki is inaccessible for all Assassins for an extended period of time), Assassins should not be idled solely on the latter basis.

To keep us unidle and to prevent unwanted idling in future such situations.

against This doesn’t really solve much if they can be idled the second that the wiki comes back. And we can’t enact this while the wiki is inaccessible anyway.

Commenting to stall off idling.

against We might consider allowing certain players (either all admins or just certain super admins and perhaps the emperor) to temporarily freeze the entire gamestate if something like this happens, so that all timed triggers are delayed while the game is broken (proposal enactment, for example). Maybe this should even happen automatically if the entire site is down.
