Replace the text of the rule “Factory Repaired!” with
If every Machine is Repaired, then any Worker may make a blog post noting this fact, even if BlogNomic is in Hiatus. Upon doing so, every Reputable Worker who has tied for the most Reputation of all Workers other than the Foreman achieves victory. If no such Worker exists (and the post was still legally made), then the word ‘Foreman’ is replaced with ‘Emperor’ throughout the ruleset, the term ‘Worker’ is replaced with ‘Player’ throughout the ruleset, all dynastic rules are repealed, and a new Metadynasty begins.
scshunt seems unwilling to budge on the “every machine is repaired = game ends” stance. Should at least make it so that if that happens, someone will probably win to avoid the meta dynasty.

Spice:
How do we handle the situation of multiple Workers achieving victory simultaneously?
Kevan:
It’s fine - they’ve all achieved victory, and any of them can chooes to declare it, but the act of declaring locks out the others, since we can only have one DoV active at a time. Fastest finger wins.
In practice this sort of endgame would probably be triggered by one of the winners taking an action to repair the last Machine, so it seems fair enough to let them go ahead and take the win, and to use that as the tiebreaker.

And if there is no tie…
Clucky:
you can be tied with yourself…
Kevan:
Good point. Can you? If the answer is “is there a tie for highest Reputation?” is “no”, I’m not sure we can actually say that anyone has tied.
Clucky:
yeah, probably best to fix it to just to clarify. but we’re not in danger of fixing every machine soon so it can be patched later if people like this proposal
Kevan:
Unless “every Reputable Worker who has tied for the most Reputation of all Workers” is read as “every Worker who, when working out who had the most Reputation, tied with someone else”, in which case everyone (except me!) may declare victory. Which may be less appealing than a metadynasty.
And with “upon doing so” arguably triggering on “upon such a post being made for whatever reason” rather than “upon such a post being made under the terms of this rule”, this could end badly.

I’m mildly against due to the fact that I don’t like multiple people attaining victory, but I don’t have a strong feeling against it and would probably abstain on a proposal to make it as such.
