Create a new sub-rule, “Nice Boat” under rule, “I’m on a Boat”:

As a daily action, if and only if The Princess has a Stress equal to or greater than 10, The Princess may relieve her stress by gently poking a Tourist. To do so, first the Princess may get off the Boat if she is riding it (but this is optional, not mandatory) by setting her Boat statistic to No. Then, the Princess rolls DICEX in the GNDT, where X is the number of other Tourists (known as the possible victims) that have the same Boat value as her. The Princess then proceeds to gently poke the Tourist whose position in the GNDT, amongst possible victims, matches the result of the roll.

For example, if the Princess rolls a 3, the third Tourist (other than herself) in GNDT order, from those which have a Boat value equal to her own, gets gently poked.

When a Tourist gets gently poked by the Princess, e has to invite the Princess to eat a nice dinner in a remote exotic location to avoid being poked in a less gentle manner. The Princess reduces her Stress by 1 for each $10 the gently poked Tourist has, and then that Tourist spends $10 for each Stress point the Princess lost this way. Afterwards, any Stress remaining on the Princess gets transfered to the gently poked Tourist. Finally, that Tourist increases their Tourism by 1 for each $30 spent this way, thanks to visiting a really nice exotic location for dinner.

Any Tourist that can perform this action on behalf of the Princess (and also make any of the required choices associated with the action they perform on her behalf), but each Tourist may not do so more than once each week.

What’s that knife you brought with you for? Ahh! Slicing some strawberry cake for dessert, I see… how nice of you.

I wasn’t against the stabbing, more the ability of a non-person to perform game actions that allow her to make decisions.

@Wooble: Oh, I see, you want the dynasty to be merely about thoughtless grinding, with no real decisions or confrontations between players. Nothing clever nor witty for you. The first one to perform X boring actions in a row wins, no one can do anything about it. Strategy is bad, stupid is good. Fine thinking you got there.

for even though it reeks of censorship.

And arth, I don’t think Wooble’s saying that he doesn’t like the complexity and strategy of the rule. He’s simply objecting to an NPC “making decisions”.

Shem: exactly.  Who gets to make this decision for the Princess?  Whoever happens to be consistently home in front of their computer at midnight UTC every day?

Valid concern, but the decisions aren’t important enough for it to grant that much of an advantage. The player selection is random enough that you can’t pick on any specific player, but there’s also an element of tactics in that it’s probably safer to be On A Boat around midnight.
