Proposal: No Double Plays

In the Rule entitled “Voting Events”, change the text

24 hours after the post is created, the two Insiders with the most other Insiders Voting for them

to

24 hours after the post is created, if no Insider has become an Outsider since the post was created, the two Insiders with the most other Insiders Voting for them

Currently, if the Contestant who would otherwise be voted out hits a Quorum of votes during a Voting Event, the second-worst contestant automatically gets the boot while the votes of everyone switched to vote for the Quorum’d contestant don’t count.

I’m not following this one. Our current voting event was an aberration because Devenger idled out. Any clarification would be appreciated.

If Devenger had idled out during the Voting Event, Darth Cliche would have gotten the boot before everyone had a chance to change their votes.

Sorry, I meant:
If Devenger had hit 11 votes during the Voting Event, he would have immediately become an Outsider.  Darth Cliche would then have gotten the boot before everyone had a chance to change their votes.
