Add a new Rule, “Booty”:-

Every Swashbuckler has an amount of Booty, measured by its value in doubloons - this is tracked in the GNDT. Booty can be freely given to other Swashbucklers.

New recruits start with no Booty.

Add a new Rule, “Style”:-

Every Swashbuckler has a Style rating, tracked in the GNDT. Style is increased by the acquisition of traditionally piratical gear, mannerisms and injuries during the course of a voyage.

Swashbucklers with booty to spare may use it to purchase piratical accessories at port, or simply wear the jewellery they have plundered - cashing in 8 doubloons’ worth of booty allows a swashbuckler to gain 1 point of style. (They should mention the accessory they are acquiring, when doing so.)

New recruits start with a Style rating of 1.

Existing Swashbucklers, even the Captain, start with a Style rating of 1. Captain Elias blew all of his unburied treasure on fitting out the Inquisitor, so none of the ship’s crew have any Booty at the moment.
