Proposal: Press Conference Purge

1-3. Timed Out. -Chronos

In Rule 2.7 replace the text

Whenever an Actor adds a film and ‘’’named role’’’ to eir own Filmography, e must make a GNDT comment of “PRESS DICE100” and then make a ‘’’Press Conference Post’’’ within 15 minutes, or else the addition of that film and role is considered invalid (as if it had never been made).

with

Whenever an Actor adds a film and ‘’’named role’’’ to eir own Filmography, e must make a GNDT comment of “PRESS DICE100” and then make a ‘’’Press Conference Post’’’ within 15 minutes, or else the addition of that film and role is considered invalid (as if it had never been made) and is deleted from the Filmography page by an Administrator.

This proposal intends to remove the Filmography entry in question if an Actor fails to hold a Press Conference concerning its existence. This avoids confusion over what is valid and what is not.

against Change “is deleted from the Filmography page by an Administrator” to “can be deleted from the Filmography page by any Actor” and I’ll vote FOR it.

against This is not necessary.  It is already the case that every Actor is responsible for making sure that important game documents accurately report the Gamestate.  If, right now, someone were to legally add a named role to eir Filmography but not make the PCP within 15 minutes, any Actor could revert the addition in the wiki.

It is necessary as the Rules state it is “invalid,” but not necessarily that it can be deleted.

“as if it had never been made”

No one is changing the Gamestate when they delete something from the wiki page that’s not supposed to be there.  Prior to deletion, the Gamestate already does not include the invalid addition which is being deleted; someone is merely updating the document.  No one needs permission to do so.

Oh, and I don’t think that IMP votes are likely to have any effect, since the artist formerly known as the Investor has gone idle.
