Proposal: Proposal - My Rise to Power

I’d kinda like to be an Admin, to help out with the enacting and failing of proposals, and other such things. I’m fairly inexperienced, and wouldn’t be doing much on the site maintenance side of things, at least for a while, but I’m pretty good with the rules, and I think I’d be more useful as an Admin than not as one. So:

Make Personman an Admin Staff.

Wow, I’m feeling very loved right now. I realize though that I may want to get on figuring out exactly how one does all them Admin-y things. Could one of you send me an email (jseakle _at_ gmail.com) with the basics?

Also, do I get to admin my own admin prop when it passes, or does it not technically happen until someone else admins it? The ruleset isn’t terribly clear on this:

any Admin Staff may mark that Proposal as Enacted, then update the Ruleset and/or Gamestate to include the specified effects of that Proposal.

So do the effects happen, (I become admin) and then admin (me) updates the ruleset to make it so (passes the prop)? Or does an admin (not me) pass the prop before the effects (i become admin) actually happen?

Proposals are adminned, then enacted if necessary.  So I’m afraid you wouldn’t get to admin your own admin proposal. :)
