Call for Judgment: Reuterz

Reaches quorum, fails. Failed by Personman.

Adminned at 21 Mar 2006 21:34:40 UTC

Whereas the ruleset states that “Any Gostak who can get both eir Blognomic name and the URL of the new Blognomic home page in either Associated Press or Reuters shall gain 100 Distimmed Dosh.”

and whereas there is only one text field or other game object within the scope of Blognomic called Reuters,

and whereas that object contains the text “http://blognomic.com Bucky,”

and whereas Bucky was the one who put that text into Reuters,

Give Bucky 100 Distimmed Dosh.

against Um, I don’t believe that we’re tolerating naming scams this dynasty.

Maybe if we had defined ‘Reuters’ or ‘AP’ to have some other definition, but as it stands..

Reuters and AP were not defined until I posted “Reuters”.

They’re ‘defined as in the english language’.  And the posting is /not/ a definition, only the ruleset can override the glossary’s speicification for undefined words. against  against  against

for I actually kinda thought he found a valid loophole there. I’m totally fine with this vote not changing anything, and in fact I think I’ll change it in a minute to get to Quorum faster, but I’m just sayin’.
