Proposal: Rotten Fruit

Quorumed 12-3. - Qwazukee

Adminned at 28 May 2009 10:55:42 UTC

Add a new subrule, 2.10.1 titled “Rotten Fruit” with the following text:

Whenever a Contestant has “Eaten Fruit” by commenting on a post more than 168 hours (1 week) after it was created, that Contestant treats whatever DICE roll they roll as if it were a 10 .

Because eating old fruit is not good for you.

for I’d change it to 72 as well, since the post itself would prob be really low after a week given all the proposals lol.

Um, Sorry but I’m not sure this makes sense.

You don’t have to roll to eat the fruit that someone else has picked which I think is the objective of this is, insofar as the fruit that is being eaten here has already been picked by someone else.

against CoV, I think there should be some extra clarity that the 10 is for the “Eating Fruit” roll, specifically instead of “whatever DICE they roll”

smith:

against CoV “whatever DICE they roll” could be construed to mean all rolls going forward

spikebrennan:

against per Smith.  This rule enables anybody to roll a 10 at any time, in any context, merely by eating old fruit.

Rodlen:

against COV.

Yeah, this has major issues, so I’m not immediately adminning it.

Then it’s a fantastic disincentive.  : )
