Why don’t we just continue to use .gifs, when there are clearly disparate bits of template and stylesheet (and ruleset!) that expect to find all of the voting icons ending in .gif?
"Nomic is a game in which changing the rules is a move. In that respect it differs from almost every other game. The primary activity of Nomic is proposing changes in the rules, debating the wisdom of changing them in that way, voting on the changes, deciding what can and cannot be done afterwards, and doing it. Even this core of the game, of course, can be changed."

Better.

Now all that needs to happen is for Kevan or Excalabur to modify the Emoticon module to reflect the new images.

The new images are the same as the old ones, just suffixed with .png, not .gif
Apathetic Lizardman:
To admins: when a proposal is enacted/failed the new symbol appears. When voting, the new symbols do not appear. Just throwing that out there.
Rodlen:
I like the incorrect veto icon.
