Call for Judgment: That’s it, no more anonymous CfJs

Reached a quorum of AGAINST votes, final vote 0-9 -Darth

Due to the recent trouble with CfJs, it seems there is not much of a reason to have functionality for anon CfJs.

Remove the “author” option from the “options” tab in the posting section of the BlogNomic website.

I’m not sure how easy that is to do.  The whole posting thing is part of ExpressionEngine.

imperial I know this has no effect, but I haven’t decided yet. Is it not ironic that this was posted by the same anonymous moniker it proposes to remove?

Plus, isn’t it strange that you chose to be anonymous for this CfJ?+

against As far as I can see, what this CfJ asks for is impossible.

Haha nice timing, Rodlen.

Yep.  We don’t seem to have control over the posting interface.

against Just remove the text “If the Citizen wishes, he may post anonymously by choosing “Call for Judgment” from the Author drop-down menu on the OPTIONS tab.” if you’re really serious about it.

Yea, then any comment posted by anonyous gets auto-failed, clears things up easily.

Before you fail this on technical grounds, you should know that it’s quite easy for an admin to remove the CallForJudgment user from the author drop down, thereby making anonymous posting impossible.

But if you’re all failing it for other reasons, that’s fine.

Yes, but this can’t happen because we can’t actually remove the author menu itself.
