That seems to be a rule from Dynasty 45, not Dynasty 44. (It’s recorded as Ruleset 44 on the wiki, but the Hard Rules specify that we go by “the chronological order as set out on the first page of the BlogNomic Wiki”, which numbers it as 45.)

Or are we arguing - quite reasonably - that “Round One” was not a Dynasty, and all the numbers are off by one?

The ruleset references Dynasty 33 to refer to the First Dynasty of Elias IX, which is 34th in the list, so I was going by ruleset number rather than list number.
