(For the benefit of everyone else who wasn’t on IRC at 6pm - this proposal was made in response to Devenger saying how he hadn’t needed to use a single veto this dynasty.)

Kevan: That gives no good reason to not let him become an admin.
Kevan:
Because he’d be sharing a home computer with a non-admin. Becoming an admin isn’t just about helping out with the proposal queue, it’s also about being trusted not to mess anything up or do anything malicious. If two BlogNomic players share a computer (and forget to log out sometimes), we should make sure we’re happy with both of them potentially having those keys.
I think “a good reason to let him become an admin” is more traditional here.

Anyway, though. I actually support him, so I think that I will vote for, actually…

5-5. Pretty good, considering this was intended as a veto-able proposal.
I don’t mind if you don’t want to give me or Wak Admin powers, but I resent that you think he would use my account willfully and illegally. He may not be perfect citizen, but if there’s one thing my brother is not, then he is not a cheater, and I will take on anyone who says otherwise.
Understand?
Devenger:
Oooh, you should fear that Qwaz, he has a mean left hook!
Kevan:
I was just pointing out that this isn’t a vote on “give Qwazukee admin powers”, it’s a vote on “give Qwazukee admin powers and give Wakukee potential, accidental access to them”.
And I’d be more concerned about accidental mistakes than deliberate ones. It’s still sad that we lost our Blogspot archives when a novice admin misread something and clicked through “yes, I am sure I want to delete this blog forever”.

FOR REFERENCE: Qwazukee just graduated, and will be going to college very soo, so you need not worry much longer, Kevan.
Qwazukee:
It’s pretty hard in this game to “accidentally” admin something. Especially for someone who knows exactly how far his abilities to effect the game currently extend. It still sounds to me like an insult, if a backhanded one.
Wakukee:
It’s ok. I accept the concern, but assure you that it is not needed. No offence taken… well, not too much.
Wakukee:
6-5… passing…

Sweet. Enact it! : ).
Devenger:
Can’t enact because I don’t know how to make somebody an admin (it would make sense if I wasn’t even able to). Aaaah. D:
