Dependent on The Big One.

In rule Workplaces add immediately before “Then, the Townsperson who called the Day of Observance removes the Workplace and Acumen of every Townsperson.”:

Then the Townsperson who called the Day of Observance shall change the current Weather Condition.

Repeal the Rule called “Forecasting”.

Change Rule “Weather Conditions” to read as follows:

At any time, one Weather Condition (Weather in short) will be in effect.
The current Weather is determined in the most recent weather post (or it is Sun if no such post exists), and should be kept track of in the Blognomic sidebar.

Possible Weather Conditions are as follows:

  1.Hurricane
  2.Snow
  3.Rain
  4.Sun

Sun, Rain, and Snow are Typical Weather Conditions; Hurricane is a Disastrous Weather Condition.
Whenever the Weather Condition is changed, it takes the value which on the above list corresponds to the current number of Priests, or Sun if there are more than 4 Priests, or Hurricane if there are no Priests.
When (and only when) required to change Weather Conditions, a Townsperson shall make a Story Post with [W] in its title, unambiguously announcing the new Weather Conditions. Such a post is called a weather post.

Weather 2.0 clearly had some faulty dependencies. Let’s try with a new library.

Although I’d like it more if there wasn’t another stat tracked at another place.

Maybe an update to track it in the sidebar?

I noticed that one could use the time window between
“Then the Townsperson who called the Day of Observance shall change the current Weather Condition.”
and
“Then, the Townsperson who called the Day of Observance removes the Workplace and Acumen of every Townsperson.”
to make Farmers die if the new weather is Disastrous (as per proposals Bad Omen - Meat Grinder).

So, would a player be allowed to pause their Observing to do such a thing? If yes, how long is a player allowed to delay an action that is supposed to be performed “Then”, and what are they allowed to do in the meantime?
This must be agreed upon before we can decide whether and how to fix this.

I thought the usual ruling in BlogNomic is that if someone must do something, with no exceptions, it counts as automatically being done immediately. So it wouldn’t be possible to fit an action into the time in between.

I don’t believe the rules actually mention this, though.
