Given last dynasty’s success with a central discussion post like this one, I’ve made another!

What I had in mind to try to strive for is instead of focusing on grindy rewards (which was fun last dynasty but I’m kinda burned out on that lol), perhaps have some kind per-week event or something that rewards clever planning. For example, a weekly Bowl and Managers can choose a combination of Players for their Team and their Tools for that.

The best comparison I can think of for the feel of it would be deckbuilding in TCGs like Magic the Gathering (although a bit simpler). So each week you make your team, have them auto-play a Match, and according to the result, get your reward.

Let me know what you think!

It’s a nice thought, but I don’t think this dynasty will require any complicated coordination like last dynasty did.  If you have an idea and want to see what other people think about it, we already have a mechanism for that: make a proposal.

Point of discussion: Free Agency failed maybe because of the free-text problem but I also wanted it to get a feel for how fast to auction players without protosal-ing. So, how fast should I auction players if Managers can’t do it themselves? I did say I’d slow down for derrick but there are rules taking shape and I haven’t heard any other opinions.

I think the auction needs to last for 48 hours and maybe keep a single action up at all times? Or make one each day?

I think two auctions at once might be ok, but certainly not any more.  I also like 48-hour auctions.  Putting up one each day like artexis said would leapfrog them nicely.

I think that no limit should be placed on the number of concurrent ones, but otherwise, I think it should be reproposed. I think we should have one starting each morning and one starting each afternoon, then each lasting 48 hours.
