Heh. This dynasty is about to end and no-one’s updated the NomicWiki page on BN to reflect this dynasty. Or yuri’s for that matter.
Of course, now I’m updating it.
I am extremely upset by the DDA coup, as I feel it killed a perfectly good dynasty.
However, I’ll give this DoV a grudging 
, since the win does appear to be legitimate.
Remember the paranoia bit? There was no DDA coup. Heck, I went for a Dynasty and a half without even mentioning the DDA before today.
If you are upset with the Dynasty ending, I’d take it up with arthexis. I had no intention of the Dynasty ending now, but that’s the way things went down. On the upside, at least there are some good theme ideas for the next dynasty.
Actually, I’m gonna agree with Bucky. Rod unidles, makes a proposal, then you vetoed all the other proposals, enabling DC to win. Before that, you, arth, and ex were gonna lead a triumvirate, but you vetoed it to give DC the victory. You DDA people definately held a coup against the rest of us.

When you put it that way, it does sound suspicious. There is a fatal exception in your logic, however. The hypothetical “coup” you speak of worked perfectly as you described it. Therefore, there is no possible way the DDA could have perpetrated it. I have 13 Dynasties of experience to back that statement up.
Seriously, there was no plan. If the DDA reforms and hatches any plans, I guarantee you Rodlen will post a DDA messageboard for communicating secret activities to everyone in the world. Guaranteed.
Plus, DDA has High Command. This hypothetical coup can’t be on purpose, then. High Command would have utterly ruined our plans, if they were actual plans.
Also, Qwazzy, the first appearance of the DDA was my first dynasty, which was 12 dynasties ago. So…no, no you don’t have 13 dynasties of experience when it comes to DDA-related matters.
The post-apocalyptic dynasty idea seems very similar to the Crashed Spaceship dynasty. Similarly, the Nations idea is very similar to the Hegemonic dynasty.
I dislike the Calvin and Hobbs and Super Smash Bros ideas and like the two kevan.org-based ideas.
I’m including that Dynasty itself.
When I saw the “C&H;comic” post, I definitely thought he was talking about Cyanide and Happiness for a second.

The second appearance of the DDA was in the Second Dynasty of Yoda. It didn’t appear between those dynasties.

Indeed, no DDA projects succeeded between those two Dynasties. Or at any other time.

BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.
