Proposal: My magnificent creation of 4 poles on a single Earth debunks puny 1-axis rotation.

Times out 2-9 -Darth

Adminned at 11 Jan 2010 06:22:08 UTC

Set the Location of all Adventurers with Location equivalent to “South Pole” to “Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station”.

Set the Location of all Adventurers with Location equivalent to “North Pole” to “Barneo”.

Set the Location of all Adventurers whose Location is a line of latitude or longitude to “-”.

Change “The prime meridian does not exist.” on the Universe page to “The North Pole, South Pole, and all lines of latitude and longitude do not exist.”

Having four poles and all the lines of longitude and latitude except one makes no sense. (Apologies to Dr. Gene Ray, Wisest Human.)

...Barneo?

Ah, hell, I suppose I deserve it.  for

“-” is not a valid location. If you’re implying the absence of a location, I’d state that more explicitly.

@yabbaguy: When someone has a stat which is not set in the GNDT, it is shown as “-”.

It makes it impossible to move from there to anywhere else except by wishing, though.

Not that that’s a vast problem; I suppose people have a day or two to move before that happens.

Problem is that I don’t see anywhere in the rules that says “-” = the absence of something when it comes to the GNDT. It may very well be different from anything else, and while you may have “-” the locationless adventurer, you may also have “He Who Hails From The Land of Hyphens”. Which doesn’t exist, and therefore falls under the Djinn’s discretion what to do.

Maybe just throw a clarification proposal in just to make it official?

Yabbaguy: a lot of the time, the GNDT tracking is unofficial anyway.

Time Cube. Look it up on Wikipedia. A well-known kook’s peculiar hobby-horse.

Closest thing to the north pole that I can think of is Alert, Canada.

@spikebrennan: I know what the Time Cube is (vaguely), but I don’t understand Kevan’s concept.

After reading the Time Cube site for the first time in 3 years, I understand the joke in the title; but not Kevan’s comment.
