So I hope you’ll all forgive me for not responding to anything that happened on the game today (I’m on a friend’s laptop now), but when I woke up my primary drive was making the most interesting noises. Amusingly, one of the things that got nuked (after I did some investigations from a boot CD) was my home directory, which is where I keep all my stuff for you non *nix types. I did manage some trickery and was able to download a bunch of stuff onto another drive, but I’m not sure what is noise and what is signal yet.

I should have an update by tomorrow if things go well, but I don’t have a functioning computer of my own until I get a new drive. Remember, comrade, the Computer wants you to backup your data and keep a laser handy!
