Proposal: Of the habit of Monkeys to use Tangelo-Flavored Cheese as their DDA-Endorsed Hats

Self-killed, failed by Kevan.

Adminned at 16 Jan 2010 10:40:07 UTC

Add a dynastic rule entitled: “Manor Plan”, as follows:

Within the Manor exists four floors. Each Guest is within a floor; this is tracked in the GNDT column “Location”.

On each floor there is a specific number of rooms, as follows:
Attic: Only one room.
Second Floor: Master Bedroom, Study, Lounge, Bathroom.
First Floor: Library, Dining Room, Kitchen, Parlor.
Basement: Only one room, where the fusebox is.

Each guest is in a room; this is tracked in the GNDT column “Room”.

Movement rules can be added later, this is a basis so that we can work on them.

Idle DEFERENTIAL, but I should note that the “flavor text” formatting button is useless. You can just put the text in the box.

Por favor, don’t comment from an Idle position while the Author is still allowed to edit.

Buggy, as explained in IRC. against

I just wanted to make sure it was commented, as the Preview isn’t quite WYSIWYG =P

It’s sad that my first post meets such a fate… *tear*
Oh well, I’m drafting another one right now.

The title is pleasantly surreal.

Rou: It wasn’t bad, and its quite normal for ya first proposal to fail. I’ve been here over 2 yrs and only had a hand full of proposals pass lol. and as hix said darth, don’t idle vote.

Well, it’s better off like that anyway: I think the new version is much better. ^^

@Darknight: I see no problem with the bare concept of idle voting, so long as there is no voting icon used. However, Hix’s objection of author editing does have a point to me and thus I shall obey his logic.

I think idle commenting is fine, if you’re lurking and feel that the active players have missed something important. Actual idle voting seems a bit unhelpful for potentially confusing the vote count - a couple of players sometimes idle-vote with actual icons, which could fool either a skim-reading human or an earnest vote-aggregation script.

It seems rather less useful to comment that if you were still playing, you’d definitely have no opinion and abstain in favour of the Executor.

(And I’ve removed the flavour text button.)
