Even if it would not be cheese.  CfJ’s should have the power to alter the gamestate in any way; who cares how long has passed since the allegedly illegal action?  The voters on a CfJ are the ones who should decide whether to punish someone for a really old offence.

I really like this idea—it makes the game much more friendly to newer players. Perhaps you could make the time line longer? (say up to a month?)
