Hello?  Doesn’t anyone want to duel?

arthexis: he/him

I don’t certainly… maybe when we get the upgraded rules for duel through…

I’d like to, but I don’t want to hog all the action. I’ll give the rest of you some more time before I join myself.

Yoda:

So, what happens if no one joins this duel until after the upgrade passes?

arthexis: he/him

Well, no duel type was chosen so… I guess you would skip that part when interpreting the rule.

Yoda:

So, would it just be under the previous version of the rule then?

arthexis: he/him

I’d rather think this Duel could be stuck on limbo, since no type was chosen and the victory conditions for each duel depend on their types. So, you would have 4 rounds of combat, then no one would be declared winner unless the opponent died in those 4 rounds.

Yoda:

So it would be like a glorious death duel.

Yeah

Aemos:

I join

See my proposal explicitly characterizing this Duel as a “Glorious Death” Duel.

Yoda:

Aemos, I have not received your combat moves yet.  If I do not receive them in the next 12 hours, you will lose honor.

Aemos:

27-10-2008 20:51:28 UTC

Yep i know, thats the intention.

Yoda:

The Duel is cancelled and Aemos loses 2 honor.
