Constraint: Can only be played if you are friendly to a community.
Upside: Draw a card.
Downside: Force a wizard to discard a card of their choice from their hand, if they have one or more cards in their hand.
In fairness we’ve enacted a rule “All cards must fall under specific types.” that is entirely separate from the definition of what a card is, this seems as clear a wording as any.
This post should also be in the “proposal” category to be counted as a proposal.
Hmm, wait, it’s only legal to change a non-official post into an official post (ie. a proposal) if it “has been posted for less than fifteen minutes and has no comments”? (So any comment of “you forgot the category” rules out the category change, and we’ve been playing this wrong in the past?)

BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.
The game has been running since 2003 and resets every month or so. Have a look around the wiki for more information and history. New players are always welcome and can join in the game at any time.
