Proposal: Panem Nostrum Quotidianum

Vetoed. Failed by Kevan.

Replace “Daily Action” with “Church Action” throughout the ruleset.

Enact a new rule, “Church Actions”:-

If something is defined as a Church Action, it can be performed at any time, provided that the Cardinal performing it spends an amount of Influence equal to 1 plus the number of times that Cardinal has already performed that Church Action that day.

Then replace “post a Ballot on that Cardinal’s behalf by paying 1 Influence and posting a comment” with “post a Ballot on that Cardinal’s behalf by posting a comment”, and replace “a Cardinal may reduce their Influence by 2 to increase their Benefices by 1” with “a Cardinal may reduce their Influence by 1 to increase their Benefices by 1”.

Dialling the daily actions back a little, sharing Ais523’s concerns.

for Bit confusing but ok. Bit less harsh than my solution.

against I don’t like “pay-to-play” as a solution here. The first daily action shouldn’t cost a player anything, I would be ok with subsequent actions costing influence, but without a way to earn influence independently of other players I can’t support this.

Err, I’m idle, but I’d strongly recommend self-killing/vetoing this on the basis that it corrupts the Glossary. This proposal is missing the word “dynastic” somewhere.

I agree with ais523. Also, I think that might make this pointless, as its arguable that the keyword definition of daily action would supersede this.
