Immediately idle each Artist who both:
1) did not vote on this Proposal, and
2) became a non-Idle Artist later than UTC 23:00 19 October 2011.
Both sides’ invasion forces are likely to clog quorum, and a nonpartisan fix should pass more easily. Pre-invasion Artists are grandfathered in; all others must respond to ping.

Though I conced that my Proposal is not the better way around, forcing a player to vote on a Proposal is not the way, either.
Also, desticky this, people should actually have to read the blog rather than notice it in the mess.

Either the post’s author or an admin can sticky or desticky it. If you click the “edit” link, one of the tabs should have settings that allow you to make changes to posts. Most of them are illegal to use once the post has been posted, but (by game custom, at least), sticky/desticky is allowed.
It’s been mentioned that possibly this post isn’t actually stickied, and is instead at the top of the page due to an EE bug, in which case it’ll move down with time, though.
It’s not currently sticky, as I tried to edit and desticky it.

Technically, we do have a Critic, but they’re idle and won’t be voting. Therefore, DEFERENTIAL votes count not as explicit abstentions, but as non-votes.

“counts as an explicit Vote of abstention, and has no effect” might mean that DEF votes get idled by this rule, incidentally.

AFAIK, this proposal is a legit attempt to lower Quorum. I undertand if people are wary, though.

BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.
The game has been running since 2003 and resets every month or so. Have a look around the wiki for more information and history. New players are always welcome and can join in the game at any time.
