Replace the text of Rule 2.8 “Recipes,” with the following text:
There exists a wiki document called “Recipes” which consists of an item followed by a station or set of stations, and one or more edible items such as below.
Recipe [Stations]: Ingredient #1, Ingredient #2, Ingredient #3
The first item is called the Recipe, the second the Required Stations, and the other items are called Ingredients. Because of certain atmospheric and gravitational conditions, certain Recipes may only be completed in specific locations. The Required Stations may be specific (“Ganymede”) or general (“Any gas giant”).
As a weekly action, if every ingredient for a given Recipe appears on the ingredient document at least as many times at it does in a recipe, a Staff Member whose Station matches any of the Required Stations for a Recipe may “make a Recipe,” that is, remove one occurrence of each ingredient for each time it appears in the recipe and add the recipe to his section of the table. (They do not remove the recipe from the recipe document).
If the proposal “Slam Bam Whoop De Doo” passes, add the following to the end of Rule 2.8 “Recipes”:
A Staff Member cannot make a Recipe they added to the document “Recipes” until another player has made that Recipe.

I also agree with Yoda. It could get a bit confusing, IE if someone says “Any planet,” does that include Eris and Pluto? They’re technically dwarf planets, but that could easily be disputed.

Because it gets messy when someone adds a recipe prerequisite like ‘any planet that my aunt’s cousin on my mom’s side likes’.

The Cube: Well the cosmology rule says “one planet or moon located within the Solar System only,” so we already have that problem.

Also, I’m just not comfortable voting in favor of this before I even know what recipies will be used for.

Well, this way, anyone who makes a recipe can’t be the first to use it. So, they wouldn’t make recipes so powerful that they wouldn’t want another player to have that same power.

Not that recipes will necessarily be able to do anything.
