Two figures exchange a sharp glance as they pass one another in the upper corridors of the castle, and the Lord and Lady descend separate stairwells. By the castle gate, the Porter squints out at the sound of drumming hooves, gripping a dull and uncarved wooden locket in his hand.

mideg:
The porter, the Lord, the Chaplain, a warm welcome, a close encounter, a beer spilled.
Brendan: he/him
I’ll take you up on that offer in exchange for the Lord, mideg.
mideg:
I agree to that, Brendan. I am right that we now have exchanged these?
Brendan: he/him
Yes, we have! You now have a Lord figurine, and I have the Lady.
Darknight: he/him
Hmm, in theory we can each trade with the other two active shifters if we’d like, since we are allowed to do so twice.
So then, I offer to carve the porter.
mideg:
Why Lord? Because I just came from a medieval fantasys game’s tab and got lost in the notion. ;-)
Brendan: he/him
(And I would like to take you up on that offer, Porter Darknight.)
Brendan: he/him
Ah, maybe you’re right. Darknight, I offer to trade the pose of the Lord in exchange for yours of the Porter.
Darknight: he/him
the Lord, the Chaplain, a guard, a letter, a songbird, a gentle breeze
Darknight: he/him
Lol yea, I meant mideg. Was in abit of a rush while checking comments and didn’t see I cut your name short. So fair trades all around then
Brendan: he/him
The Chaplain, the Cook, a Stranger. A sleepy dog, a smoky fire, the clatter of wooden spoons.
Sylphrena:
A Guest, the Cook, the Porter. A roaring fireplace, a surprising taste, the soft touch of a gentle hand.
mideg:
I offer to carve the Lady.
