Note

When “I can see clearly” and “Mood swings” are enacted, Ocelluses can scout, but doing so will satisfy Curiosity, and since the Statolith has no nutrients, we’ll become hungry.  So whichever Ocellus satisfies Curiosity should give a nutrient to the Statolith first.  You can take it back afterwards.

Why should we not become hungry?

The organs are but half filled, the whole is empty!
great writhing mass has no staying power!
It must seek sustenance! hunger shall rule till all are filled!

Not if those glands do their job!
More funding for glands! Keep the Statolith curious!

Unfortunately the glands can’t do anything unless Kevan or Sphinx gives us Nonium. :(

I guess there’s no penalty for being hungry (yet).  I’m just pointing out it would be easy to avoid.  We can still eat even when not hungry.

orkboi: We would get hungry only if curious isn’t highest, I think. Since we only get hungry if a highest mood is fulfilled, right?

Right.  Absent gland activity, the first scouting and then the first movement will make us hungry.

Unless we scout before mood swings is enacted

I assumed they would be enacted at the same time since they were so close, but Mood Swings might not have quorum yet, it’s true.
