Proposal: Time to Ponder

Vetoed. Failed by Kevan.

Adminned at 07 Aug 2014 10:32:39 UTC

In section 2.4 Flea Market, remove the following “Within 24 hours of an Offer…”

This is just a pain in the butt, or at least it would be if people were adhering to it :(

Also, it’s been rendered mostly obsolete because the Broker can now close Flea Market posts.

Also, if the Broker makes an offer, a person can’t accept it after waiting more than 24 hours even though the Broker will always make the same offer!

veto Oops, a last-minute veto: taken literally, as all proposals much be, this would either leave the sentence fragment “being posted on an Flea Market post, the Seller who made the post may Accept the Offer in a comment to the Flea Market post, then may remove the relevant Good from their possession to gain a number of Pounds equal to the Offer” or (if we read the ellipsis as “sentence beginning with these words”) remove the entire mechanic.

The first would arguably prevent players from being able to accept offers, the second definitely would.
