The most Meritous Nomicer is

Kevan.

I’m going to adhere to the spirit of the rule on disclosing privately tracked information (“If a piece of information is described as being tracked secretly or privately by the Imperator (including secretly random selections), then that information may only be revealed by the Imperator when the ruleset allows it”) rather than trying to wriggle around whether I was privately tracking information or just privately calculating it, but I will retain the workings for a short period in case a proposal changes the rules on that.

@Josh: you can reveal the workings once the rule defining it as privately tracked is repealed (which is likely to happen at the start of the next dynasty), because at that point it’s no longer defined as privately tracked.

I wonder if we should vote on that as well, although it’s probably entirely Josh’s prerogative to reveal or not. Personally, I think that voting for Josh to do this privately in the first place placed a trust in him to make the calculations fairly and dispassionately, thus they need no post-dynasty audit.

My personal view is that revealing the information will be unproductive. People will disagree with Josh’s numbers but at this point Kevan won and we should just move on

@JonathanDark: If I thought that Josh was likely to bias things against me, that would give me an incentive to vote FOR in order to get a different Emperor, rather than try to win what would effectively be a new dynasty with Josh as Emperor. It’s quite possible that people would have voted FOR the end of the dynasty on that reasoning even if (or especially if!) they didn’t think Josh would make a fair decision.

I will say that the process led to a result that was very, very close in a way that means that my subjectivity was undoubtedly a factor. I guess I’m up for discussing it if there’s curiosity, not so much if there’s heat, but it doesn’t feel like anyone is too broken up about the outcome as it stands.
