If this enacts, your target will be being beaten up and industriously framed by the local constabulary - future Crises of “on further evidence, looks like we made a mistake, let’s have another Crisis to bring this innocent person back” will be vetoed as readily as “whoops, better bring that guy back from the dead”.

I don’t want someone who /might/ be a detective or /might/ be a murderer to be arrested… Restrained, sure: better be safe than sorry. But arrested? In light of Kevan’s comment, I don’t want to endorse the killing/arrest of a possible detective.

It’s very unlikely he’s the detective for reasons stated in the crisis when he was restrained.

Also, I just got a second letter with a detective seal from someone who identifies himself differently from the sender of the first.
