Proposal: If the other way is more interesting, then let’s propose it

Self-killed. Failed by Kevan.

Flush the Marks.

Add the following Subroutine to the list in the rule “Subroutines”, keeping the list sorted by OI:

  • D3NY - Threshold: 8 OI. The subject of this subroutine immediately loses their Command Role, if any. Even if they have no Command Role, the Computer still announces who the Subject was.

Consensus seems to be leaning towards ASUM not working like this, but some people seem to think the gameplay would be interesting. So I’m throwing it out there to see if people want it.

For reference, I’m taking the random Role assignation mechanic as being something that I should do whenever I can, so this will always end with the lost Role being reassigned to a random Crewmemeber.

against Based on Kevan’s interpretation, this would rapidly end up with most Roles being assigned to less-active players, and then sitting there for days at a time until the Computer chugs through the subroutine queue, at which point the whole farce would start over again.

As opposed to now, when we keep having to use proposals to move the Roles around instead?

against I would vote For, but consensus seems to be tending away from that so I’ll just try to push this through the queue
