Proposal: Fixes

In the rule “Truth”, change all occurrences of “Deliberation” to “Proof”.
In the rule “Truth”, immediately before the sentence beginning with “Proofs are Votable Matters”, add the sentence “Multiple Truths, each accompanied by the above required specifications, may be added by a single Proof.”

In the rule “Formulae”, replace the sentence “A Formula (plural Formulae) is either a single Variable or a sequence of Variables and properly-placed Connectives.” with

A single Variable is a Formula. A sequence of one or more Formulae with properly-placed Connectives is a Formula.

In the rule “Formulae”, append to the last sentence: ” within its context”.
Append to the rule “Formulae”:

The symbols “1” and “0” are Formulae that are True and False, respectively. The Connective “=” has its typical meaning of equality, where the Formulae on either side of it have the same value of True or False.

In rule 3.3.2 “Rules and Proposals”, amend the item beginning with “If a new wiki page” to read:

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, a wiki page shall be blanked when it becomes gamestate.

Clarifying and cleaning up.

I don’t like the mixing of core and dynastic changes, especially since the core rule change is a safety issue.  It’d lead to a rule change such as “While a dynastic history page is Featured, players may not edit it.” accidentally blanking dynastic history pages either immediately or when they become Featured.

There will be history of dynastic histories, but yeah..

Well, what about blanking only those wiki pages that become gamestate upon enactment of a proposal, that had not existed when the proposal was posted? And if the page had existed, at the beginning of the enactment it should retain the contents it had when the proposal was posted.. Maybe there is a more neat formulation :)

You make a good point. This formulation is the inverse of the previous absence of one; with this, it automatically blanks unless stated otherwise, whereas currently it only blanks when requested. I think that this works better psychologically because it seems less likely for you to think to blank the page if you don’t want anything on it than to state what you want on it if you do want something.

imperial I want to vote FOR this, but if “Patch the Magic Dragon” passes, the Main Page will have to be blanked. If this proposal passes, the other one may have to be vetoed, since it currently has more FOR votes than AGAINST,
