1. There are no current events? Are these added by proposals as well? I had the impression that games were consistently running on every Sunday.

Eh no. Use the Access the GNDT and login from there. The GNDT config editor is used for admins to edit the GNDT itself(as in the rows in the columns, not the data in the columns)
I believe there are no current upcomming events. Theres an events page on the right sidebar, which looks like it needs to have a football competition removed from the top(upcomming) and added to the bottom(past), but I will leave that for someone who knows what they are doing. I expect that there will be more events proposed by the coach in the near future?
Basically, from what I have discovered, eventually the upcomming events post becomes too old and dies. To combat this, next time I post the upcomming events post(tomorrow, hopefully) i’ll just make it a date way far in the future.
BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.
The game has been running since 2003 and resets every month or so. Have a look around the wiki for more information and history. New players are always welcome and can join in the game at any time.

My understanding is you just make the changes in the GNDT, making sure you follow the ruleset explicitly for each change.
