You gain a PP if you are hit by a random occurance.

Rodlen’s right.

From rule 2.4.1 Random Occurrences: “He shall then add 1 to the Relationship of all Characters located at the Location of Positive Impact, subtract 1 from the Relationship of all Characters located at the Location of Negative Impact, and add 1 to his PP and the PP of all the Characters whose Relationship was changed in this way.” (emphasis mine)
