Proposal: hot or cold

Passes with Quorum (I hope someone proposes a fix to this new rule soon)—arth

Adminned at 15 Jan 2009 21:07:21 UTC

Create a new sub-rule of Guessing “Writer Help” with the text:

When the Writer votes on a proposal he may include with his vote the words Hot, Warm, Cool or Cold, to denote how closely to the theme the Writer feels the proposal is.  The warmer the temperature, the closer to the theme the proposal is. If the Writer includes the word Hot on his last counted vote, and the proposal passes, when the new rule is added to the ruleset it will include the tage [HINT] in the title of the rule

Just throwing it out there as an idea. I know [HINT] doesn’t do anything right now, but it provides a framework we can use.

against What if the proposal doesn’t add a rule but only modifies a rule or if it only modifies gamestate.

arthexis shouldn’t put a temperature tag on such a proposal, I guess. imperial

or, alternatively, we can reword the end of the rule to accomidate for that.

for I like the mechanic, but we will need to reword the last part before making use of it. It would be good if, instead of naming the rule a [HINT] we use Yoda’s system for tracking it in a wiki page
