Illegal Block Placements

Looking at the surface of the moon, Derrick dropped a Quarters Module next to a Dock Module a couple of days ago. At the time of the action, this appears to have broken the (since repealed) rule which said that “an architect may not build a Block so that a Quarters module is adjacent to a Power or Dock module on a Block which has already been built on that architect’s site”.

The most recent J-block drop was also added as if it were an L-block by Derrick and Farsight (here and here) - the drop rule allows blocks to be rotated, but not mirrored.

I’ve reverted these three placements as illegal. If any Architects disagree with this, speak up.

Update: Card and Farsight also placed their starting blocks illegally.

Thank you for that Kevan, I’ve rebuilt the block legally.

Strictly speaking you need to make another comment for it, as “When an Architect Builds, they must make a comment to that effect on the Drop post whose Block they Built.”

I may be wrong, but I think some folks made their first drop with wings of the T-block holding swapped modules.

Yes, looks like it. The Block was:

D+P
 L

...but both Farsight and Card swapped the P and L when the dropped it. I’ve removed the blocks. With three players making mistakes, a proposal or CfJ to add this stuff back would likely pass.
