Story Post: Antelope Riot and an Impolite Apple

Adminned at 13 Jul 2025 15:56:49 UTC

The back of the book is blank and the inside flap is empty. No author is listed. Slowly, the cover glimmers. Surely, someone wouldn’t have bothered with enchanting a book that carried such a rediculous name right? What effects would it even have?

Score 1. Title feels nonsensical

Score 1, the book itself fits the prompt more then the title sadly

Score 2 by pulling a bit more meaning out of the title than the previous two scorers. Fantasy is still less likely than mere absurdism but it’s at least possible.

Score 1. Magically enchanting what sounds like a children’s story book or rock band autobiography doesn’t change its genre to fantasy.
