Story Post: Astronauts Roaming Inside Adrastea

Astronauts, Ava and Jose visit one of Jupiter’s moons for their research for terraforming places to escape their dying home, Earth. At first, things are calm at the start but it starts to get more eery the more they roam the the inner depths of the landscape and core of itself until they find something new. Is it a creature, a society, a ruin of what once was? That’s what you have to read to find out.

Score 2. It’s still the case that you can fill any acronym with made-up words, and while that’s slightly more legitimate in the fantasy books round I think I will prefer entries that avoided the temptation.

Arguably fails the prompt by describing science fiction rather than fantasy, so there’s a bit of tonal clash. Contra Josh, however, Adrastea is an actual place, and the genre line between science fiction and fantasy is blurry enough that the book could cross it in the middle.
