Dear Admins, Some Help Please?

So DC just PMed me, saying that posts made via the “quick save” feature were invisible (which was odd, since I am not an admin, and he is). I checked it out, and they are invisible from the main page (though they ARE visible from the archives). So is there a way to remove the quick save function?

Wait, What? Nevermind…

...Darn it DC!

This is just a “save this but don’t publish it yet, I haven’t finished writing it” blog feature. I can’t imagine there’s an option to turn it off, and abuse of it would already be covered by Rule 3.6.

I don’t see how 3.6 makes it illegal.

Abuse of it would be illegal. (“A Scripter should not deliberately exploit bugs or unexpected behaviours in the software running the game.”)

And messing around with secret-message blog-post URLs is still slightly annoying for anyone using this plugin, Wakukee.

It’s not a bug or an unexpected behavior.

Feel free to suggest a clearer adjective to use there, but Wakukee seemed surprised by it. We would shoot down a scam that hinged on a blog post being saved but unpublished, if most players were unaware that such a state existed.

(Did Wakukee find the invisible post feature “odd”, or the fact that Darth decided to send him a private message about it?)
