There has been an outbreak of mundanity in the Dreamscape. A whole sector where the dreams they have are prosaic - dreams of a techno-witch landscape in which people are doing their washing up, or driving cars within the speed limit, or thinly slicing celery stalks. Boredom is not unheard of, even in the dreaming, so it could be nothing. But it could also be something.
