I’m sorry for sounding stupid, but I’ve been poring over the Wiki and I can’t figure out how to actually roll the dice.  In fact, the whole notion of gameplay is a little unclear.  Is there someplace where the actual instructions on how to participate in events is codified?

To roll dice, you go to the GNDT (in the sidebar, click on “Access the GNDT”) and log in. Then, type YDICEX (where “Y” is the number of dice to roll and “X” is the number of sides on the dice) in the Comments box and click Submit. It’ll show the result in the bar to the side.

Thank you.  It’s telling me my password is invalid.  I even went into my prefs and changed it, but it’s still not working.

One possibility is that my name in the GNDT is Peacefulwarrior (with capital P) while I am actually registered as peacefulwarrior (with small p).  Not sure if it is a case sensitivity issue.

The GNDT has a different password than everything else.  (I got hung up on this too—the core game documents really could explain this better.)

If your name on the GNDT is Peacefulwarrior with a Capital P, then you need to type that name in to log into the GNDT =)

Actually, that’s ever-so-slightly misleading.  You choose your GNDT login from a drop-down menu, and type your password.  peacefulwarrior, the admin who officially brought you into the game probably sent you an email containing your GNDT password.  Let us know if you lost it or never recieved it so we can fire off another one.

Lolz. It looks it didn’t send because you need to wait 5 minutes to send out mail. I send out snowballs, then tried yours and didn’t read the message that popped up or something. I then sent an email to The Doctor; and so the second time probably didn’t work either. I guess that is what I get for having too many windows open.

Thanks, I’ve got that all sorted.  Now I have another question.  It says that to suggest future events to the Coach, just post it on the talk section of the wiki.  Would that be where it says “my talk”?
