Earlier in my “murderpoints/scalping” proposal, somebody mentioned they were against this becoming a PK game. Curious what everyone else’s feelings are on this, because I’m all pro PK… at least Grue Killing anyway. Merry Christmas/Happy Hannukah/ Jolly Kwanzaa to you all.
Cayvie: PK stands for Player Killing. It’s used in online games, mostly role playing games, to indicate both the form of gameplay and the event itself, where players attack and kill other players rather than fight (possibly together) against computer opponents.
I’m not against player killing in general, just for this dynasty it didn’t seem right.
I’d vote for a proposal that would allow that sort of thing if it were written well.
BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.
The game has been running since 2003 and resets every month or so. Have a look around the wiki for more information and history. New players are always welcome and can join in the game at any time.
